The weather sure has been different raining and cold then get a warm day then cold an windy. I am suprised that we have not had much snow I just know it is going to hit us hard one week and we will get some real snow. That is Indiana weather for ya. I got the pocketbook made with all the pockets and I think it turned out OK. I am making another one just a little smaller so she can pick out which one she wants. I am making rice bags Aunt Elna got me a order for three and I got $5.00 a piece for them. I also am working on trying to finish a guilt that sombody else started. The blocks are not even so I will have to even them up somehow . I also have to make more blocks as there wasn't enough to make a quilt. I am hopping to get it big enough to cover the person when he lays down. It is for Lora's Bill he has cancer and gets cold a lot. I guess I better go it is getting late. I have a picture of the pocketbook so will post it later need to down load it on the computer. So all take care see you later.

Here we go again
Happy New year to all that read my blog. I have not been here for sometime I know some people keep theirs up and I guess I just don't have that much to say. Things realy has changed alot sence I was coming here last year a whole lot.I was babysitting for the grandkids and helping Amy out and had a chance to spend some time with them. Amy no longer babysits and they moved to Union City ,In, they were in Dalevell, In. wich was a lot closer. Now it takes me an hour to get to there house and a lot more gas. Roberts x-wife is getting remarried and moving to Ill. so that means we will not get to see Roberts kids but maybe once a year. I am so glad we got to see them for awhile at Christmas she gave us a couple of days and Robert had a whole lot of family to take them around so they could get Christmas from them. Alot of the family was really upset about it but she has her rights too. I think I will get off this for awhile and talk about something else. Being retired has been nice I like it when I look outside and the snow is falling and I can stay inside where it is warm. I have been working on a pocketbook for a friend and she wants lots of pockets in it. The pattern doesn't call for pockets so I have to work them in. I am trying to do some little things to get ready for a church bazzar and bake sale in the spring we are trying to build a new church I like making thaings like pie carriers and aprons and oven mits just things like that. I have a whole lot of things I can make. I even have some small quilts I will put in. I have so many things I want to do I even want to make some doll clothes I have a couple of dolls that need clothes. I think I need to make a list and as I make them mark them off. I am proud of myself I have not bought any material in a long time I have been using up the stuff I have here. Most of it is calico material and that is what they used when my grandma was making baby quilts so it will be good for my quilts. I have such nice patterns and colors of material and most of it came from Aunt Elna or another friend from church. I think I will get off and start on my sewing till the next time. God Bless.

Hello to all I am sorry I have not been here for sometime. I really have no excuse just not felt like writing. Not much going on here I am still working on the quilt for Gage and now doing a little girl quilt for my friend at church she is going to have a new granddaughter in Oct so I better get on the ball. I found the pattern in a magazine at the library and I made a copy . So far I have been lucky I have all the material here so I didn't have to buy anything. I am so blessed with so much material that was given to me. I have to go through the material and find something I like and then find a pattern that will go with the material. Sometimes I can find a pattern and then find the material to go with it but I usually end up having to buy a red or blue to finish it up. I like to do scrap quilts too you can get a nice variety of colors. A friend gave me a quilt she found at a rummage and it was all nine patch block in all different colors and it was beautiful. I put a back on it and batting and finished quilting it and gave it away. I really think the simple quilts are the best. I am getting tired so will go and write later take care all who read this and God Bless. Your quilting friend Sharon

I went yesterday and spent the day with Robert and his family. We went swimming and took all the kids,I stayed out and watched. I was really surprised at all the big women in bathing suits I was selfconscious about my size and that is why I didn't go in . Next time I will be in with the rest of them.Ha ha . It has been a while seance I posted so I will have to catch you all up. For Mothers Day I decided to make me a new purse I had gotten some nice material and I decided to use it. I made this one a little smaller I have a picture of it will show later.
